Well I am once again safe and sound in the land of G-ville. Oh happy day. The weekend at home with the fam was actually really great. I enjoyed just being able to relax and cruise around Z-ville knowing that I was skipping out on classes, homework, and the everyday drama of college life. Most of the time GIPPER, MJ, and I did next to nothing, but we did get a pay-per-view movie (Murder by Numbers which I would not recommend), went shoe shopping, grocery shopping, dyed hair twice, and went bowling.

The highlight and main purpose for the road trip was to see the ever beloved and phenominal Coldplay. Sunday afternoon we ventured to Columbus around 4:00pm to wait in line for the next 3 hours in the bitter cold in hopes that we would be close to the stage come concert time. Alright, so this was MY plan and not anyone else's. I claim full responsibility. Upon lining up behind 50+ other hard-core fans, I overheard that lead singer and future husband of mine, Chris Martin, had been out earlier to mingle with the small crowd. Blast and wretch my luck!!! How are we ever going to marry if we never meet??? Maybe he'll go on Married by America....anyway....the wait was basically Hell, but the band was kind enough to leave a door open so that we were all able to hear the sound check which was, in reality, a full concert in and of itself. Around 7:00pm we all filed in and fought for our spots which ended up being front row for GIPPER and I due to alittle 'inching out' of an oblivious make-out couple. The entire show was fabulous. The Music, a new up-and-coming British band, opened and pretty much blew everyone away. I would recommend you check them out if you are into retro British rock. Coldplay hit the stage around 10:00pm and had a solid performance start to finish. Chris had a few blunders which brought lots of laughs from the crowd. He's too cute not to laugh at/with. As he began to play the piano intro to Trouble, one girl professed her love for him from a few rows back...this caused him to burst into laughter and he was unable to go on for a few seconds claiming to not be used to these sorts of professions. The show was filled with fun stuff like this.

This whole experience has made me realize my true calling in life and that is to forget applying for jobs in the next couple of months and, instead, follow Coldplay (essentially Chris) around the world until he falls madly in love with me, forgetting all about Gweneth, marry, and spend the rest of our lives together--him writing me beautiful, passionate songs everyday and me squealing after each one:o)
